Resonant

Resonant for Zoom

Transcribe Zoom meetings.
No bot. No cloud.

You can't add a bot to client calls, investor meetings, or sensitive discussions. Resonant records from your Mac's audio — invisible to others — with dual-channel diarization and live speaker labels.

Everything runs locally. Audio never leaves your device.

from every other tool.

  • No host permission needed

Cloud transcription services

  • Bot joins as a named participant
  • Audio uploaded to external servers
  • Visible recording indicator
  • Requires host or admin approval
  • Limited to supported platforms

How it works

Four steps. All local.

01

Zoom detected

Resonant recognizes when a Zoom call is active on your Mac. No manual setup, no calendar integration required.

02

Dual-channel capture

System audio and your microphone are captured as separate channels directly from macOS. Nothing leaves the device.

03

Live diarization

On-device speech recognition processes both channels in real time. Speaker labels are assigned automatically — your voice vs. everyone else.

04

Searchable transcript

The finished transcript is stored locally with timestamps, speaker labels, and full-text search. Query it later or pipe it to your tools.

Key features

Built for meetings
you can't record openly.

No bot joins the call

There is no Resonant participant, no recording notification, no "bot has joined" message. Other participants have no idea you are transcribing.

Hidden during screen share

Resonant runs in the menu bar. When you share your screen on Zoom, there is nothing visible to reveal you are recording or transcribing.

Automatic speaker labels

Dual-channel capture separates your microphone from system audio. The transcript shows who said what without manual tagging.

Notepad during meetings

Capture spoken notes alongside the transcript. Flag action items, highlight key decisions, or dictate follow-ups while the meeting is still happening.

Searchable after the call

Every transcript is indexed locally. Search across all your meetings by keyword, speaker, or date. Find that pricing discussion from three weeks ago in seconds.

MCP queryable

Expose your meeting transcripts to AI tools via the Model Context Protocol. Ask Claude or your local agent to summarize, extract action items, or cross-reference meetings.

Privacy

Meeting audio stays
on your Mac.

Cloud transcription services upload your meeting audio to their servers. Every client conversation, every internal strategy discussion, every investor call — routed through external infrastructure you don't control.

Resonant processes audio entirely on-device using local speech models. The raw audio is never written to disk and never transmitted. The only output is a text transcript stored in your local library.

No account required. No data collection. No telemetry on meeting content. Your meetings are yours.

Free. Local. Invisible.

Transcribe every meeting.
Trust no one with the audio.

No bot. No cloud. No recording indicator. Just a local transcript with speaker labels, ready when the call ends.
